2401 - S.M.I. SWINE BREEDER 40

  • All nutrient fortification meets or exceeds NRC requirements.
  • Vitamin E added to 40 mg/kg of complete feed.
  • Crude protein sow feeding program - no added lysine.
  • One premix for both dry and nursing sows.
  • B Vitamins at a high level to aid in sow health.

2402 - S.M.I. SOW PREMIX 55

  • 25% higher level of calcium and phosphorus than NRC requirements.
  • Higher vitamin fortification for prolific sows.
  • Added magnesium and potassium for better electrolyte balance.
  • In a two premix program usa a Dry Sow Premix.
  • Fortified for high quality crude protein sow feeding program.
  • Yucca Schidigera has shown to decrease the number of still births in sows. On-Farm studies show .3 more pigs born through the use of Yucca Schidigera.

2403 - S.M.I. SOW PREMIX 55L

  • Yucca Schidigera has shown to decrease the number of still births in sows. On-Farm studies show .3 more pigs born through the use of Yucca Schidigera.
  • Lysine added to improve lysine value of the lactation diets. This will decrease muscle loss during lactation, thus improve breeding condition of sows.
  • Highly fortified premix to match the energy from high corn formulations.
  • When used in a 2 premix program for sows, use this premix for lactation diets.

2410 - S.M.I. SWINE STARTER 40L

  • Fortification meets or exceeds NRC requirements.
  • Dried whey as a flavour enhancement.
  • Growth promoting level of copper.
  • Added Lysine at 1.0 kg per complete tonne of feed.

2415 - S.M.I. SWINE STARTER 50L

  • Added Lysine to meet the requirements of the faster growing genetics. The addition of Lysine alows for the use of less soybean meal.
  • Whey powder as a flavour enhancement.
  • Menhaden both as a flavouring for small pigs as well as a highly digestible protein source.

2420 - S.M.I. SWINE STARTER 80L

  • Whey powder and Menhaden as flavouring agents, which improves feed intake for the lighter weight pigs.
  • Special Select fish meal as an alternative protein to soybean meal, which improves the amino acid profile of the feed.
  • Added enzyme to enhance digestibility of soybean meal in the young pig.
  • Flavour added to improve consumption.

2425 - S.M.I. SWINE STARTER 100L

  • Milk product as a source of lactose. Small pigs have a minimum lactose requirement.
  • Special Select fishmeal as an alternative protein to soybean meal, which improves digestion and growth.
  • Acidified to improve enzyme production to digest grains.
  • Added enzyme to enhance digestibility of soybean meal in the young pig.
  • Flavour added to improve consumption.
  • Yucca Schidigera has shown to decrease the ammonia level excreted.

  • Milk product as a source of lactose.
  • Special Select fishmeal as alternative protein to soybean meal.
  • Copper at Growth Promotant level of 125 ppm.
  • Acidified enzyme to enhance digestibility of soybean meal in the young pig.
  • Flavour added to improve consumption.
  • Yucca Schidigera has shown to decrease the ammonia level excreted.
  • Weight range.

2440 - S.M.I. SWINE GROWER 25 ENZYME

  • Contains phytase enzyme which increases availability of phosphorus present in grains. This lowers the addition of expensive phosphorus sources needed and decreases the amount of phosphorus excreted by pigs.
  • The addition of phytase has also been demonstrated to increase amino acid digestibility.
  • The low inclusion of premix and soybean meal allows for a lower cost per tonne of complete feed.
  • Vitamin, Mineral and Amino Acid fortifications are the same as a premium hog grower.
  • NOTE: Developing gilts require higher phosphorus levels than grower/finisher market hogs.

2445 - S.M.I. SWINE GROWER 30HC-L

  • Vitamin/mineral fortification meets or exceeds NRC requirements.
  • Added lysine to reduce the usage of soybean meal, which decreases amino acid waste and improves growth.
  • Added Magnesium for improved electrolyte balance which aids in the general health and well being of the pig.
  • Copper sulphate added to growth promotant level of 125ppm.

2450 - S.M.I. HOG FINISHER 955

  • All levels meet or exceed NRC requirements.
  • 45 kg of space to add:
    1. Lysine
    2. Copper Sulphate
    3. Growth Promotants or Medications
    4. Dical, Vitamins, Lime, Organic Trace Minerals
    5. Or increase the density of the premix and use at 28.75kg per tonne of complete feed.
